Advanced Green Strategies Against Biothreats in Water Management Systems

The workshop, organised by the BioSystems & Integrative Sciences Institute (BioISI), aims to bring together researchers and professionals to discuss innovative and sustainable approaches to mitigating biological threats in water infrastructures. It will focus on emerging green technologies and strategies to prevent biofouling, biocorrosion, and microbial contamination, contributing to safer, more resilient, and environmentally responsible water management systems.

The programme includes the following sessions:

  • Green and sustainable synthesis of functional nanomaterials

  • Controlling Biofouling and Microbial Threats in Industrial and Marine Systems

  • From Imaging to Insight: A Guided Tour of Advanced Microscopy Techniques Labs.
