For more than two decades, the NeSy series has brought together researchers from around the world to present and discuss cutting‑edge work in neuro‑symbolic AI, an area that combines the learning capabilities of neural networks with the knowledge and reasoning of symbolic systems.
The annual meeting of the NeSy Association began in 2005, initially as a workshop, and now reaches its 20th edition. NeSy 2026 will take place at Ciências, in Lisbon, bringing together international experts to discuss the challenges and opportunities of a rapidly evolving field.
