Doctorate
The Doctorate in History and Philosophy of Science provides continuity to the Master's Degree in History and Philosophy of Science, or to another equivalent degree offered in Portugal or abroad. The aim is to offer advanced training in the History of Science and/or Philosophy of Science, providing a high level of specialisation in a field of History and/or Philosophy of Science.
The final result is expected to reveal the student's scientific autonomy and their ability to produce original research work recognised by the international community, which contributes to the expansion of the frontiers of knowledge and is disseminated in nationally or internationally recognised publications.
