During their academic attendance and/or after completing a course, students may request the issuance of various documents.
Documents conferring a degree or title
The awarding of academic degrees is certified through the issuance of a Certificate of Registration. Certificates of Registration may be issued in English, at the request of the interested party.
The Certificate of Registration is accompanied by the corresponding Diploma Supplement, which is a bilingual document (Portuguese/English).
Course Letters may also be issued for bachelor's and master's degrees and a Doctoral Letter for doctoral degrees. Course Letters may be issued in English or Latin, at the request of the interested party.
Certificates
Students also have the right to request the issuance of various certificates, namely the Certificate of Degree Completion (Bachelor's, Master's and Doctorate) and other non-degree courses, the Certificate of Subjects, which certifies the course units taken and their classification, and the issuance of Course Loads and Syllabi, per course unit, included in the course study plan.
The request for certification is made by email or in person and involves the payment of a fee defined in the Table of Fees.
