We are here to ensure that everything related to IT services runs as smoothly as possible, whether it involves the platforms we provide, equipment, laboratories, offices or shared spaces.

The IT Services Unit (DSI) are available to support the Ciências community and anyone who, in one way or another, requires our services.
The various teams within DSI are on hand to assist and support the community by answering questions and resolving queries, troubleshooting equipment-related issues, preparing teaching laboratories, providing access to academic and other platforms, ensuring reliable access to the network and the internet, and managing the infrastructure that hosts the services and servers available to the community.
The teams also ensure the provision of a number of services developed in-house to meet the needs of the community, as well as the creation and maintenance of technical guides and tutorials that enable users to configure their own equipment with greater independence.
Our goal is to make everyday life easier for the academic community through simple and effective solutions.
