Biosafety Committee

Objetives

The Biosafety Committee aims to apply the general principles of good microbiological practice and of hygiene and safety in the workplace, as well as containment measures and other protective measures appropriate to activities involving the contained use of GMMs/GMOs, with a view to protecting human health and the environment, thereby ensuring a high level of safety, in accordance with Decree-Law No. 55/2015 of 17 April, as currently in force, in particular the user’s obligations under Article 6.
