Academic integrity is a fundamental principle underpinning the credibility, quality and prestige of higher education institutions, and should guide the conduct of members of the academic community.
Considering the need to prevent, identify and analyse practices that may constitute academic fraud and compromise ethics, transparency and fairness in the teaching and learning process, as well as the need to establish institutional mechanisms to promote academic integrity, prevent fraud and safeguard the credibility of assessment processes, the CIÊNCIAS Anti-Fraud Committee was established.
