The School Board is a collegiate body with deliberative and supervisory functions.
It is composed of 15 elected and co-opted members: nine members with doctorates from the teaching and research staff, one student, two members of the non-teaching and non-research staff, and three renowned citizens with no connection to the University of Lisbon.
