Reception - March 26, Wednesday at 19:00

The reception of the 6th ICAZ-AGM meeting will take place at Museu Geológico e Mineiro (conference room). This museum hosts important archaeological assets, mostly collected by the scientific staff of the institution since the end of sec. XIX, that illustrate the evolution of the prehistoric man in Portugal since the beginning of its presence in the territory (Lower Paleolithic) up to Roman times. Visiting this museum is like traveling back in time! We hope you come and enjoy!
We will go together from the conference venue by metro (leaving around 18:15).

Meeting dinner - March 28, Friday at 20:00
The meeting dinner will take place at the panoramic restaurant "Varanda de Lisboa", located on the top floor of the Mundial hotel. There are 2 optional menus (see below). Vegetarian options are available upon request (please let the organization know if needed).

Visit to Archaeological site – Leceia - March 28, Friday at 14:00
The Leceia settlement is an imposing assemblage, with a set of living structures surrounded by defensive walls dated to the third millennium BC. The complete excavation occurred during 20 years – 1983 to 2002 – and involved the recovery and restoring of the structures today available to the general public through guided tours organized by the Archaeology Studies Center of the Oeiras Town Hall.
Transportation will be provided. We will go together from the conference venue (leaving at 13:45).
